Pharmaceutical Product Liability Attorneys Nick Allis and Ray Henke have joined the forces
of their respective law offices for the prosecution
of the California Vioxx litigation. Mr. Henke and Mr. Allis worked
with each other from 1979 to 1988 prosecuting pharmaceutical
litigation with the offices of Butler, Dan, Allis & Reback. Mr. Henke has been involved in pharmaceutical
product liability litigation for 16 years and Mr.
Allis has been a pharmaceutical product liability
lawyer for over 20 years. Each has been recognized
their trial lawyer peers; Mr. Allis was elected President
of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and Mr. Henke, Governor
of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association (Consumer
Attorneys Association of Los Angeles). Mr. Henke earned
a juris doctorate degree from University of San Francisco
Law School, Mr. Allis, from Georgetown University
following his undergraduate degree from Yale.

Attorney Henke has received national

of one such case. Attorney Henke

for his prosecution of pharmaceutical litigation.

a front page "Collumn One" article in the
Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, the San Francisco
Cronical/Examiner, and in many other legitimate news
publications. Mr. Henke also testified before Congress with regard to his prosecution of drug litigation, at the invitation of the Chairman of the US House Judiciary Committee. With the pharmaceutical product liability
law firm of Butler, Dan Allis & Reback, Mr. Henke
was involved in Dalkon Shield, DES, Bendectin and
DPT and Thalidomide litigation. Mr. Henke was also involved in the
asbestos litigation, and in prosecuting AIDS drug
fraud litigation involving the drug Viroxan. Mr. Henke has also obtained important published
appellate victories in drug product litigation including
a landmark published federal court of appeals pharmaceutical
class action opinion which defines the scope of permissible
pharmaceutical class action through this date. Mr. Henke's has also received general recognition
as a lawyer, a former Governor of the Los Angeles
Bar Association (now the Consumer Attorneys Association
of Los Angeles) the 5th largest trial lawyer bar in
the United States and Editor-in-Chief of the LATLA
Advocate Law Magazine, he is "AV" rated
by Martindale and Hubbell, "A" connoting
"very high to preeminent" legal ability
and "V"connoting "very high" ethical
standards. Attorney Henke has published over 30 articles
in "Trial," "Forum," and "Advocate," the journals of the Association of Trial Lawyers of
America, the Consumer Attorneys Association of California,
and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
Mr. Henke obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from
the University of San Francisco Law School in 1979,
served on the USF Law Review and interned with the
9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Product Liability Lawyer with the Credentials and Track Record
California Vioxx attorney Nicholas Allis received his
B.A. from Yale University and Juris Doctorate degree
from Georgetown University. At Georgetown Law Center,he
was on the executive board of the Georgetown Law Journal.
He clerked for a judge on the United States Court
of Appeals for the Third Circuit for a year after
law school and eventually became a partner in Butler,
Dan, Allis and Reback which specialized in pharmaceutical
cases. Vioxx lawyer Allis has extensive litigation
experience, serving as lead attorney in over 60 jury
trials. He has argued in the United Sates Suprene
Court and is a member of the Supreme Court Bar. .
He has litigated cases involving injuries or deaths
caused by a variety of drugs and pharmaceutical products,
including DES, the Dalcon Shield, Breast Implants,
Phen-Phen, Bendectin, and Tylenol, to name a few.
Mr. Allis has served as President of the Beverly Hills
Bar Association, one of the largest bar associations
with a membership of 3000 attorneys. He is on the
board of Public Counsel, the largest public interest
law firm in the United States, and is on the board
of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation. California Vioxx
attorney Allis has received the President's Award
and the Distinguished Service Award from the Beverly
Hills Bar Association and is a lecturer for the California
Continuing Education of the Bar and the Consumer Attorneys
Association of Los Angeles. He has published numerous
legal articles in such journals as the Georgetown
Law Journal, the University of Southern California
Law Review, and the Advocate (the journal of the Consumer
Attorneys of Los Angeles).
